When we lived up in Roxy, I'd drive the Ridge alot in the afternoons -- could not believe how often I was behind some middle-aged drunk guy that time of day. What is UP with that?
And it was worse when I crossed the border into MontCo. I attributed it to golfers. Or just drunks, I guess. I wouldn't say this is Philly degenerating necessarily, sorry RoxP. There are a lot of drunks in Manayunk/Roxboro, among the young and not-so-young, and it was kind of ever thus.
To be fair, it's the same in South Philly (where I'm from) but they mostly walk so you have more fights and less drunk driving.
Those poor little girls - that poor family. That is right by where we lived, btw.
